Red Chilli is the ideal place for students and budget tourists to stay. Going into its ninth year of operation, it is an enclosed compound in a clean and safe residential area of Kampala but is accessible to the bustling town by road at a cheap fare. Â
For accommodation, they offer a variety of options. Â You can camp out in their 2.5 acre compound/garden with your own tent or rent out tents inclusive of beddings at about USD2 per night. Thirty-eight beds, inclusive of beddings, are available for roughly USD4 per night. Three single rooms each with their bed costs USD9, ten twin rooms each with two beds cost costs USD16 per night and four double rooms each with a double bed cost USD20 per night. Fourteen hot showers and fourteen flushing toilets are available that are kept spotlessly clean and are supplemented with a hand laundry service.
If you want privacy, two double rooms each with en-suite bathroom costs USD25 per night and are supplied with sheets, blankets, mosquito nets and fan. Â A one one-bedroom cottage costsUSD30 per night and twelve two-bedroom cottage goes for USD 450 per cottage per night. All cottages are fully furnished, have a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and each bedroom has two beds.
Facilities available include a fully stocked bar and à la Carte restaurant with a comfortable lounge area and satellite TV (DSTV). An outdoor barbeque and food preparation area is available for campers.
 Three computers are provided for internet services and a large buck-up generator and inverter is available with there are power outages.
Outdoor activities available are Jinja rafting safaris, Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Lake Victoria and Murchison Falls safaris.
