Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba opened on the 1st of July 2006. It is the second hotel to Kingfisher chain after Kingfisher Safari Resort in Jinja. The lodge at Queen Elizabeth National Park is situated in Bushenyi hills overlooking the Park that is 20 minutes away from the main entrance.

Accommodation includes five double rooms with balconies, two twin with balconies and two single rooms overlooking Queen Elizabeth National Park. An additional twenty-five rooms are being constructed and will be available by the end of 2008.
