Five minutes from the city centre, Hotel Africana offers 115 rooms comprising of five suites, twenty-three deluxe rooms and ninety-three twin bed rooms. Eight apartments with 2 bedroomas are also available. All rooms are air conditioned, have a full private bedroom, a balcony overseeing the city, satellite TV (DSTV), radio, fridge, telephone and wireless internet.

Various cuisines are served at the hotel include Continental (on Monday), Chinese (Tuesday), Indian (Wednesday) and African/ Mongolian (Thursday).

These cuisines are served at Ngeye and Kibs restaurant. Ngeye that has 120 seating capacity is air-conditioned and is ideal for corporate dinners and wedding receptions. Kibs restaurant includes a coffee shop on top of the dinning area. Ugandan coffee and tea is served with snacks and freshly baked pastries from the in-house bakery. If you want to feel the cool morning or evening breeze while enjoying your meals, the garden area, terrace and a large pool area offer gourmet and buffet meals.

Eleven fully furnished conference halls that are air-conditioned are available for the business traveler. The seating capacity ranges 10-3000 pax and have wireless internet connection. The biggest conference hall is over 1000 sqm and has an in-built sound system, lighting and projection system. It is ideal for workshops, huge wedding reception, exhibitions and concerts.

Other facilities available are a health club, golf course, a swimming pool and weekend entertainment. The health club has a well equipped gymasium with instructors/ trainers, aerobic classes, a sauna, steam bath and massage. The avid golfer can enjoy the facilities of Kampala Golf Club that boasts of an 18-hole course and company of Uganda's movers-and-shakers. The swimming pool with a restaurant and gym in the sides is ideal for swimming all day, wedding receptions, concerts and exhibitions.

Weekend entertainment features pulsating traditional dance shows and live music from popular bands. The hotel also has an in-house pianist who plays smooth music.
