RWONYO REST CAMP

Budget

Rwonyo Rest Camp lies at Lake Mburo National park. It has four tents and three public campsites, all strategically located to facilitate and enhance scenic viewing and easy water access. Lake Mburo dining shelter provided meals on order. Paraffin lamp lighting and warm water bucket bathing are provided. Bore hole water is only available at Rwonyo. Jerrycans can be provided for those using any of the campsites.

Neither the Rest Camp nor hostel stock food. Visitors are advised to carry sufficient food and drinks. Other supplementary diet such as chicken and goat meat can be arranged from the nearby community for visitors who intend to stay for long periods. The Rest Camp staff can arrange for cooking. Treat or boil the water if you plan to drink it and sodas and beers are normally available.
