Mihingo Lodge is an exclusive and environmentally friendly retreat adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park. The buildings are constructed to melt into the rocky outcrops and savannah landscape around them.

It has 10 rooms that are built on woodern paltforms with stilts, covered by a thatched roof. Each luxury tented room is nestled enjoys the tranquil environment in complete seclusion. Placed in varied settings, some rooms are situated in a forest, some with a lake view and some on rocky outcrops. Suspended under the thatched roof is a spacious and comfortable tent with en-suite bathrooms that include hot water powered by solar energy, showers and stunning views.

The dining area is a large thatched structure built of rocks, the wood of dead weathered olive trees found on the lans and narive grasses.

Below the dining area, a swimming pool stretches from the rocks and seems to disappear into the vast landscape. From the dining and pool area, you can enjoy the view of a westward oriented valley and its stunning evening sunsets over Lake Mburo National Park. Animals gathering in the valley provide guests with fantastic game viewing opportunities or a chance to relax and watch wildlife at water hole below the pool.
